I lost 22 lbs. I gave up soda entirely, and ONLY drink water, and I stayed under 1500 calories per day and the weight FELL OFF... It was crazy. Now, I can pretty much eat anything I want, and since IM not drinking a ton of calories, I lose weight still. My picture was 5 lbs ago, and I look pretty dam good in that picture! GOOD LUCK!

Have you tried a cleanse? I tried exercise only for about 4 months and I only dropped 7 lbs. But with cleaning and exercising I lost 22 lbs in a month. I tried a 30 day cleanse. My doctor recommended it to me for my weight loss. With a good cleanse you can lose up to 10 lbs in 9 days or 30 lbs in 30 days. And it's not just water weight. Just cleanse, eat healthy and exercise at least 1 hour 3 times a week. Start moving your body more. Even if it just walking up stairs instead of catching the elevator. I've used this product for almost 4 months and I’ve lost a total of 55lbs and 87 inches. I went from a size 18 to a 10 in 3 1/2 months. If interested you can purchase this product from http://thedetoxlife.isagenix.com/ Good luck.

I suggest that you try body cleansing. I tried it and really got lean quickly. I lost 15 pounds in 9 days and also 3 inches off my waist. I do body building so getting leaner was my goal. My sister did this program too and she lost a lot of weight quickly. I did not know too much about cleansing but there are a lot of TV commercials about this stuff. This is a body cleanse and not just a colon cleanse, I wanted my body to get lean quickly and this did the trick! You can get info or order it at this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or online at http://thebestcleansingdiet.com

Basically, I lost 30lbs in 5 weeks by just running around the Furman track. I began with 3 laps and over the weeks I increased to 3 miles. I also stayed under 1200 calories. But the amount you loose depends on how overweight you are. I was 144lbs overweight. now I am 120lbs overweight(I gained from a sprained ankle :( ) but yeah those fad diets don't help much, just cut calories to the 1000's and exercise. We all kinda want a magic diet plan... but there's not one. Good luck! : )

i lost 80 lbs in a year and a half.
honestly i hesitate to answer because it's not what people want to hear.
i ate less.
i simply started eating only 20% of what i had been eating,
volume-wise. i did not change my diet just the portions.
so if i normally ate a sandwich, i would just eat 1/4 of a sandwich.
if i normally ate 13 potato chips i would just eat 2.
it worked great. as i approached my goal i started eating
more like 30% of what i had eaten at my fattest.
i have kept it off for about 6 years now.

Reduced carb - south beach type diet (way of eating)
I did the first two weeks of the month "textbook" and followed the rules the last two weeks I allowed minor splurges. (whole wheat sandwichs, a slice of cheescake - even sugar free is good)
Lost about 30 pounds last year gained 5 back for christmas, just started behavin myself again yesterday.

1. Lean always to protein-like chicken, cottage cheese, cheese, turkey, eggs and vegetables of all kinds and fruits. No alcohol, candy, cakes and fattening carbs.
2. Walk vigorously in the neighborhood for 30 minutes, aerobics (step classes, spinnning, bike rides, hiking on weekends).
3. Stay from the TV!
