My grandmother celebrates every time she hits 90 lbs. By the time she hits 100, she looks positively chubby. :-) She's constantly trying to gain weight.

Make sure you're eating often, but that what you eat counts. Those energy bars that are so famous for runners are also high in sugars and carbs and proteins, all of which will help you gain weight.

Rather than having three meals a day, try to stretch it into six meals a day, and have the meals be relatively small, but full of proteins and whole-grains.

Exercise to bulk up some muscle, which is heavier than fat and which will help you tip the scale to your 100 lb. mark.

Make sure you're working with your doctor, and follow any suggestions he has. It could be that you're within a normal weight range for your height, and those four pounds are more for you to feel better than because you need them.

Just increase your calorie intake a little. But in a healthy way, don't over do it with the cookies and chips! When i mean healthy, like eat nuts or a yogurt and maybe some biscuits.
