I've been with my boyfriend for 1 year & a month now and it seems that he doesn't have time for me. We both go to different high schools. He's 19 and I'm 17. He goes to school and works at night till 11:30 or 12:00 midnight. I work after 5 pm till about 10:00 pm. On his days off, Wednesdays and Thursdays instead of spending time with me he hangs out with his friends. He use to visit me after work late at night just to kiss me good nite. He use to make time for us but since he bought his new Scion (car) he prefers to go out with his friends or just goes home. I never see him anymore and I seem to annoye him whenever I call him. He answers the phone saying, "What!" We didn't spend Christmas or New Years together! I love him and we still say "I Love you" to each other but I think action speaks louder than words and lately his actions are not good. I spoke to him and told him I think we should be on a break but he said no and that he couldn't take that. What should I do?

Ask yourself this...Do you like the way he is treating you lately?
Is the way he is treating you acceptable? If either answer is no, DUMP the b/f. As he has the car, it seems he has all the deciding power, is that a relationship ?
I think not!!

This is typical, your lives are going in different directions. Only you know if you want to continue the way things are, or make a change. I think you are too young to be this serious, give yourself time to enjoy college and guys who will be there for you. Don't put your life on hold because of a boyfriend. Enjoy yourself, your life, and your future. No Christmas or New Years? Wow did you even get a gift or maybe a card from him? Don't waste your time on a looser.

That's not cool... He doesn't appreciate you but then when you want to call things off, he's not okay with that. It sounds as though he keeps you around for convenience, because when he wants you, you'll be there. Tell him that there are two people in this relationship and that he doesn't have all the power, if things don't change then you'll have to break up. You deserve a lot better. x
