I think both are cute, but I like the yorkie better. I get a girl and cal her Minnie!

First off, it doesn't matter which is cuter. If you are planning to purchase a pet you need to get it from a respectable breeder NOT a pet store! These puppies are usually breeder rejects and are prone to illness and high vet bills. Breeders are educated about the dogs they are selling and want to promote breed excellence. Pet store just want to make a sale. Their puppies often have giardia, coccidia (intestinal parasites) and upper respiratory infections and hernias. Please seek out a breeder in your area. Also consider the grooming costs for the life of your pet. Yorkies and Maltese both have long hair and will need to be groomed every 6 weeks. Cost for grooming ranges from $30-$60. Puppies also need a series of vaccinations not to mention spaying/neutering. Make sure you evaluate ALL the costs before purchasing your pet!

Both breeds are so adorable but I choose a Yorkie.
I agree with a couple people who posted above that puppypetite.com is NOT a good place to purchase your puppy. You should find a responsible breeder. You can go through many groups to find good breeders.

I love them both. Some things to consider:
Yorkies can be greasy and need cleaning often.
Maltese get matted and have to be brushed often.
I believe Maltese are the healtheir breed.
As far as cuteness??? Hehe Yorkies!

As has already been mentioned, do not buy from these people. They are puppy mills! The pups are cute tho.

my vote is for the Maltese. as for a name, i don't know i have a chihuahua, and his name is Gizmo, like the cute little gremlin that i loved when i was younger. (plus he's like a gremlin, he eats everything he can get his little paws on ex. Kleenex, cardboard, paper, slippers etc.)
