ok well im 5'3 and i cant get fat. i eat my heart out and i dont gain a pound. I want to be the really strong kid with big mucsles. and by the way im 13. Any tips on how to get taller or a bit bigger. and any workouts you know that i dont have to do a lot of before i can feel the burn. for example sit ups i can do a million of those and then finally i'll start to feel it. some good workouts for the arms sholders back and abs would be nice.

try to play any sport in that age but put in ur mind that u will not get the strong body in few days
but it take time after playing the sport and u will get the strong body

There are no exercises to get taller. You'll just have to wait until your body finishes growing. If you're 5'3" at 13, then you're probably already one of the tallest in your class, anyway, so I don't know why you'd be worried.

For upper body strength, there really isn't much you can do except weightlifting. Exercises like pushups and pullups are naturally limited by how much you weigh, so they might build muscle at first, but will eventually become a body toning exercise for you, rather than musclebuilding. With weights, you can continue to add more to your exercise regime to build muscle instead of tone muscle.

Also, diet is key. You can't build muscle if you don't have enough protein in your diet to accomodate the weight gain.

The good news for you is this will come about naturally......I know its not fun waiting for the changes. Meanwhile just do things like hiking, getting involved with sports, power walks.

Packing might be the answer too :-) Seriously. I work in a grocery store and have noticed the boys put on muscle pretty quick after a few months of doing that. And you get paid :-)

well i use to be like you not matter what i eat it just doesn't go any where . what you got to do is try eatting 4 meal a day .not those lil small meal too the big bowl . and with ur heigth i have friend that was also short .. what he try was hanging him self upside down for about an hr every day ..
