The key to keeping full beautiful curls is in first curling iron. I have very fine hair so the curling iron has to get very very hot to do anything for me. So I bought a curling iron that was cheap ($14.99 @ walgreens) from conair. It has 25 heat options and a turbo heat button. So guess what? I set it to 25 and push turbo.

Next, Don't try to curl every strand. If you divide your hair into layers when you curl it, try to stick to just two layers. Try wrapping pieces of your hair around the curling iron instead of using the barrel. Hold it for at least 10 seconds. This will give you a more JLO curl look and the curls will look full yet relaxed and beatiful (as opposed to a poodle with a new perm)!

Lastly, I agree with the others. You MUST use hairspray. I personally prefer AEROGEL. It's very pricy. Like $14.50 for a bottle from amazonor something like that. But a little goes a long long way. I curl my hair in the morning, use the hairspray, and by the end of the day it still looks amazing. I get many compliments for it.
