No, it isn't necessary to tell your boyfriend about the inappropriate calls from your ex. It is however, necessary for you to let your ex know that you are in a "committed" relationship, and he needs to treat you with respect. If he is calling to inquire about the children and their needs, he can stick with the subject or you need to end the conversation. This man is dis-respecting you by talking to you that way, and he is de-valuing you by asking you something that is none of his concern. Your new boyfriend would not appreciate it if he knew the type of person this father of your children is, and for you to allow the loser to speak to you in that manner is a violation of you. You need to take care of yourself and stand up to this ex. He can call to inquire about the children, and he needs to do that within reason, or perhaps you need to tell him not to call if he can't conduct himself in a respectful way. After all, you are the mother of his children.

You need to take control of the situation because you have kids by this guy. You need to be the strong one and tell him that you don't appreciate his comments and that you want it to stop. Let the conversation be about the kids not what you are wearing or can he come to your apartment. I still think once you resolved this issue you should tell your boyfriend and let him know that you took care of the situation.

i mean you not with yo b/f so why be scared to tell him, i mean if yall have and connection where yall at the point where yall wanna be with each other, then dats a different story. i mean i can understand yall our close or whatever. but that really aint nun to tell to be honesty. i mean you got kids by him. what im trying to say is even doe yall our bestfriend dont mean you gotta tell him everything that goes on. i mean i know you respect him in all but you aint do nuthin wrong. so dont worry about it. he shouldnt be mad but if he do then that means he cares about you and yo feelings and might not wont to see you hurt. so he might like you or should i say love. trust me

you shuld just tell him what ur ex sed and how he's been calling you...but if your boyfrend over reacts jsut tell him that u dont have feelings for your ex anymore and the phone call was a one time thing...lol i hope it was:P
