Who is to say this is the first time.. or the last.
And of course which God or for that matter the religion which is the right one to follow.
I believe whatever works for which ever culture or person is fine.
So to answer your question: We were given free Will. -
Free will, will let us make our own mistakes our own choices in life. If we mess up we mess up.. Live and Learn.
How else do we Grow as a person without free will to make mistakes.
Blessings ALD

God began this world with the word and with authority. When he said there would be day there was day, when he said let there be night there was night. Things occurred just by his word. Therefore, since the beginning he he had a plan and a purpose for the world he wanted to create. A perfect world such as himself (perfect), but with his authority. That was Gods plan to have a system of perfection for us the people he placed on this planet, but we disobeyed him. God is and active and living spirit and he has the power to do all that wants to do. Nevertheless, because satan was jealous of God, he went against God and wanted to destruct Gods very perfect creation. Therefore, it was Gods purpose to allow Jesus Christ to come to land, and die for our sins because since the beginning of time this world has become a rebellious nation, and a nation filled with sexual immortality, sin, murder, destruction, deceit, cheating, and etc... Therefore, Jesus Christ died for our sins because it is to fulfill Gods purpose, so that through Jesus Christ, we the people can return to God from our rebellious ways and walk straight.

Wow, such unbelievable arrogance.
How would YOU set up a system that would include love but not allow for evil. Is that possible? Of course not. The existence of one implies the existence of the other. God demonstrated His LOVE to us. Some might die for a friend but how many would actually die for an enemy? To say that YOU, a finite limited flawed human actually KNOWS the "correct" way to have done things is really incredibly arrogant.

He didn't. It's simply a retelling of an ancient pagan mythos regarding the King and his replacement (his son). Nothing new in christianity. God is simply the creative life force in all things...and it is always right. Life finds a way.
God does not require blood sacrifice nor endorse TV evangelists.

his kid is technically him, the father the son and the holy spirit are all the same God just in different forms.(sort of like water ice and condensation, same thing just different forms). God came to earth and allowed himself to die for our sins and then he rose again, but anyway if he hadn't died for our sins we all would go to hell, by allowing himself to be crucified he was offering us eternal life. God gave us free will, if he made some sort of system like you're talking about, we wouldn't come to him by our choice, it would be by his choice, God wants us to want to be with him forever by our own free will.

It is a part of the creation. God could have created perfect infallible beings demi-gods or robots but those would have no choice but to worship God with no free will. You have a choice to choose to worship God. Jesus was God with us and chose to lay down his life for ours. God is righteous and remained righteous and still saved his creation.

Then what would we do all day? What would people argue about? Nah, right or wrong, truth or a lie, God probably knew just what he was doing.

Because God didn't do it. If you remove the possibility of God's existence from the equation, it all makes sense.

I think it all leads back to free will. God gave us free will to see what we would do with it. I don't think he know exactly what will happen because of free will. He knows what choices we CAN make and the consequences of those choices. But doesn't know what choices we WILL make. If he did we wouldn't really have "free will" would we?
