It's totally normal. The swelling is still going down so the bar is going to show more now. It takes time for it to heal fully.
Hope this helps and good luck!

If you are under 18, there is a chance that your piercing will migrate, or "grow out" as your body continues to grow.

If you are over 18, and your body decides to reject the piercing, there is a chance that this could happen then also.

But, if it's not that bad, it may have just happened while it was healing. Maybe it was a little swollen, and you may not have realized it. As the swelling goes down, more of the bar might show.

If it's not infected, you should be okay.

If the problem keeps getting worse, you may want to go talk to your professional piercer and show it to them. They will know what you should do.

You are fine. They pierce with a long bar or hoop a little larger than normal in diameter. They do this because the pierced area tends to swell after it is done. The extended sizes help keep pressure and infection down while the area is swollen. As it heals, the skin retracts to regular elasticity and a little more of the jewelry will be visible as time goes on.

Sounds like the piercing migrated a bit and that some of the initial swelling went down. Keep an eye on it and keep it clean, if it starts to show more barbell and the skin gets thinner you would then be experiencing rejection.

Sounds like there was a bit of swelling, but keep an eye on it. Some people bodies will just reject the piercing. I had one before and my body eventually rejected it..
