I received an email from Mc Hummer and this is what he said about Mother Theresa

Mother F__king Teresa", as Penn Jillette calls her, spread AIDS in India by reusing needles without sterlization and cause pain and suffering in people she was falsely claimed to be "helping".

Her "hospitals" were a sham. They had no medicine or medical staff, only nuns whose job it was to tell people, "Pain means that jeebus is kissing you!" "Tell him to stop," one dying man said in response.

MF Teresa was a loathesome hypocrite. While people suffered in her "hospitals", _she_ received first class medical care in Europe. Her personality cult claimed she "raised money for the poor", when in fact, the prostitutes of Delhi raised more money to help the victims of Bhopal than MF Teresa. (Dow Chemical killed 2000, remember?) Scratch that, she raised *NO* money for them.

MF Teresa also fraternized with criminals. Remember Charles Keating, the scumbag who helped Jerry Fartwell sue Larry Flynt? He was the same Charles Keating who headed the US$200million Savings and Loan fraud of the 1980s. He gave US$20million of the money he stole to MF Teresa.

The victims of the S&L fraud asked for it back. MF's response? She sent them an insulting bible tract and refused to return it.

She also defended pedophile priests.

Read Dr. Aroup Chatterjee's book "Mother Teresa: The Final Verdict" to learn more about her crimes against humanity. Chatterjee and Hitchens aren't her only critics.

What do you think?

God Bless You

This is a good question Susan.

I've heard a lot of pros and cons about Mother T. I think Penn Jillette makes his point with very strong language for my taste. But in fact Mother Theresa did think that suffering led to holiness and purification. There are dozens upon dozens of accounts of her withholding pain medications for suffering and dying patients when it was totally unnecessary for her to do so.

I have heard a lot of those things about her as well. I haven't researched the matter much but I believe there are always three sides to every story. Yours, mine, and the truth. In this case, I don't think her a saint, nor a monster. The truth lies somewhere in between.

WOW. I didn't know all of that, I'd like to do some reading to research all of those claims. I'm not particularly religious, but I had always thougt that she was an angel among us. If some of those are true, I wonder how much of it was due to ignorance of health care practices and so on. I hope it's not true, but it could be, couldn't it?

I don't know how true it is - but I'm not as shocked as you obviously want us to be - do you know that when she was given a nobel peace prize she said in her acceptance speech that the biggest obstacle to peace in the world was abortion!

What a pathetic, ignorant woman.

I would have to have evidence provided from a less obviously-biased source and one who preferably actually sounds educated.

I wholeheartedly agree. Ma Theresa is worthy of no adulation. She was a swindler and a phony.
