You could try to do a google search or look into getting some "Jump Start" computer games. They aren't expensive and they teach alot.
Best Buy and Circuit City have sections of really neat kids computer games. You should check it out. My five year old has been a computer addict since he was about 2 - we just buy him games. Alot of the stuff online will give you a free "trial" though.

This is a computer generation and the earlier they start learning how to use the computer the better. Most of the good Kids TV channels have a sight the skill level of a 4 year has special considerations.
My son has his own favorites list on both our computer and on Grandmas - this avoids accidental hitting naughty sites. He recognizes websites everywhere now but know he can't type them in without permission.
The Reader Rabbit series software is very good at teaching not only the 3r's but ranges from not needing to use a mouse (Preschool) to click-move-click for the Kindergarten level. Peoplle forget taht click-and drag can be difficult for tiny hands.
Here's a few good one's for 4 year olds:

Also check to see if your local elementray school has a website. Our computer lab instructor has a lot of good links on her page. Check these out too:

I don't understand why you'd want your 4-6 year old online. I wouldn't. There are other ways to teach a child about computers if thats what you want. I don't know of web sites for kids that young, but I would guess the nick jr one would be good. I think if your child is online you should be right there. My son is 8 and is just barely allowed to go online. He had computer games he could play, like Scooby and things like that. But not online and only if I'm in the same room. I monitor it. I am sure you would too, since you're asking for help. Just keep an eye on them. There are some real weirdos in this world!

Make sure that you check the site out before your child uses it. There was a legal case a couple of years ago where a sleazeball was deliberately misspelling the names of kid-friendly sites (Dsney instead of Disney, et al) and buying domain names with those misspelled names. Little kids -- especially children who couldn't spell -- would enter the bogus addresses and the sites opened onto porn and other trashy sites that would instantly download keyloggers and other malware. The guy said he did it for the money, because each click onto the site made so many cents.

disney, nick, toons, any thing you'd normally let them watch on tv should be a good website why dont you let them search themselves and just set up parental control.
