I'm not a Jehovah's Witness, but they'll probably predict the end of the world every month during the Iraq War until the war is over, then wait until the next war or stock market crash (1920 listed above) to "predict" the next end of the world. The only context they could be correct in is if you say it is the end of a particular era of the world. Example 1941 changed American lives because of the bombing at Pearl Harbor which sent the USA into the second World War. This ended the American "era" of being a neutral country.

As far as 1975.........
My feeling at the time was something like this ....How is it that Jehovah provided us with this spiritual food that was - in a word - "wrong"? Could it be it isn't really Jehovah providing this food?
Could it be these men are only men who are feeding us THEIR ideas and attributing them to Jehovah? No, it can't be. Where else would I go??"
Tee M, thank you for the quotation regarding 1975. One might wonder why it would be necessary to issue a disclaimer about the year 1975. Could it be because the WT was “pointing out” that the year 1975 would mark the end of 6000 years of human history leaving only 1,000 years of the seventh creative day? And why would that be significant? According to WT theology of the day, the creative day was 7,000 years long, so that remaining 1000 years would logically be the Millenial 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ.
Was this a mere suggestion that could be dismissed by Joe Average Witness? Could Average Joe get on the platform and express doubt that 1975 would be significant?
Consider this subtle threat in the year 1974:
*** w74 1/15 p. 50 ‘Keep Close in Mind the Presence of the Day of Jehovah’ ***
5 If we keep alert and in tune with what Jehovah is doing, we are always sharers in great blessings. On the other hand, we are in danger if we develop an attitude of skepticism toward the things pointed out to us by the “faithful and discreet slave,” that composite Christian body through which Jesus Christ provides spiritual food for his disciples. We can find ourselves in a situation where we are like stragglers in an army column, easily picked off by the enemy.—Matt. 24:45.
So yes, TM, the WT made a point of covering their rears. They were certainly aware of the embarrassment they suffered in 1914, 1918 and 1925. They learned their lesson well. When I read Bro Franz comment, I immediately remembered this WT article.
** g84 8/22 p. 21 How Reliable Are Bible Prophecies? ***
Fortune-tellers, like Nostradamus, often use ambiguous words that can be taken in many different ways. This is done to protect themselves from embarrassment when their predictions fail.
They were no stranger to "embarrassement when their predictions fail" so they came up with the perfect solution. With a double tongue, they presented their flawed ideas as "spiritual food" from the table of Jehovah, threatened people who wouldn't "swallow" it with being "picked off" (see above), while at the same time issuing a disclaimer saying in effect "We aren't being specific so if it fails we'll deny we ever said it." Win-win. If it happened, they could say "We told you so. Jehovah directed us.". If it failed (it did) they could say "We never said that."
It did fail. And then the WT blamed us for having a "wrong view". Look up the Watchtower article in 1976 if you weren't there at the time.
I was there.

Most of these years seem to have been invented by the questioner. In actuality, only the years 1914 and 1975 are likely to be recognized as having any connection with Jehovah's Witnesses, although not as the supposed "end of the world".
Jehovah's Witnesses continue to understand and teach that "the times of the nations" ended and Christ 'sat on his heavenly throne' in 1914.

http://watchtower.org/e/jt/index.htm?article=article_02.htm
But with regard to 1975, Jehovah's Witnesses simply noted that it seemed to conclude 6000 years of mankind's existence. That's it. Yet again and again, critics of Jehovah's Witnesses pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses presented 1975 as the year of Armageddon.
Did Jehovah's Witnesses themselves understood that Armageddon would arrive in 1975? Well, in 1975, there was a peak of 2,179,256 active Witnesses preaching from house to house. Did they quit in 1976? No.
By 2005, there were 6,613,829 actively preaching Jehovah's Witnesses, more than THREE TIMES as many!
Even in the United States, Jehovah's Witnesses have almost doubled their numbers since 1975. The articles of Jehovah's Witnesses which mentioned 1975 did so because it seemed to represent 6000 years since mankind's creation; no connection was made between that year and Armageddon.
Jehovah's Witnesses have long taught that not even Jesus knew the day and hour of Armageddon.
(Matthew 24:3-36) .The disciples approached [Jesus] privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” 4 And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out... 10 Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. ...13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. ...36 “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.
It is sad when the enemies of truth work to spread misinformation regarding this peaceful Christian religion.

(Matthew 24:36) Â “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.
Yes, the Witnesses did on occasion misinterpret the signs given in the Bible, but now with better understanding and revelations of current events they have realized their error and made rectifications to their worship of God.
When speaking of the end we know only God knows the Day. He does however give us signs on the last days before his coming in (2 Timothy 3:1-7) But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. Â For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, Â having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, Â betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, Â having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. Â For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, Â always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.
These signs can be seen all over the earth today and they continue to escalate as the days past by.
As far as some of the dates you have posted, not all of them are in referrence to the end of this world. Some are about the rulership of Christ; when it began and what effects it had upon the Earth.
Example: Jesus was sitting at the right hand of God until the appointed time (1 Corinthians 15:24-28). Studing the prophesies in Ezekiel and Daniel this time was in the year 1914; this is when Jesus began ruling as King and cast Satan out of the heavens (Rev 12:7-12).
Other dates point to many different situations (too many to outline) which are also not necesarily in referrence to the end of the world, but the end of a particular situation concerning us.
This is a topic that would take a lot of time to discuss, I just touched on a few points. If you want to contact me, please feel free to do so. I'll respond back to any questions you might have.

What a wonderful example of how to witness to Jehovah's Witnesses.
You ask for an honest answer and then ridicule the individual who gives it.
All sincere Christians should be interested in the Kingdom of God.
All sincere Christians should be interested in when Armageddon is coming.
Why aren't more "ministers" and "churches" telling their members to be on the watch?
Honest hearted Christians await the return of their Lord with eagerness.
Honest hearted Christians search the bible to find answers,
Paul corrected the spirit anointed christians of his day, for miss interpeting Christ's return at 2 Thess chapter 2.
For every quote of "end times", there is also a quote that says, We are not inspired, but these are based on what is happening in the world, in light of Bible prophecies.
The prophecies are inspired because they are in the bible.
The interpetations are based on sincere investigations of events happening in the world,
Jesus gave signs and not dates. Jesus said Christians would know the times and seasons.
Most of the dates you've "misquoted" are taken out of context.
Martin Luther thought the end was coming in his day.
Billy Graham said the end would come in the 1950.
As to 1975 Please read:
With regard to 1975: ‘What about the year 1975? What is it going to mean, dear friends?’ asked Brother Franz. ‘Does it mean that Armageddon is going to be finished, with Satan bound, by 1975? It could! It could! All things are possible with God. Does it mean that Babylon the Great is going to go down by 1975? It could. Does it mean that the attack of Gog of Magog is going to be made on Jehovah’s witnesses to wipe them out, then Gog himself will be put out of action? It could. But we are not saying. All things are possible with God. But we are not saying. And don’t any of you be specific in saying anything that is going to happen between now and 1975.

Yes you can ask them but the truth of the matter is the date is not known by anyone but God.
The bible gives you all the signs and the knowledge needed to help you understand History and the events that have occurred throughout time that were already foretold thousands of years before down till today.
You should go online fine the nearest JW Kingdom Hall call and they can set up a bible study with you so you can learn the bible and understand for yourself everything you need to know.
Good Luck

I gave you a thumbs up for your question. Ask the Jehova's Witnesses without fear. They will give you a sincere answer according to their beliefs.
They are nice people. I disagree with their beliefs, but I love talking to them.
