Well, my asian way of doing it is first heat up hot water with 2-5 teaspoon of salt in it. then put it in the microwave for about 2-4 min. Then put the salt water in your mouth but don't drink it. Hold the water in your mouth for about 1-3 min then spit it out.

Call your dentist and tell her/him about your continuing pain without relief. You may have what is called a dry socket. I know that hurts very bad. Also, just a tip..clove oil helps relieve dental pain. You did not mention if you went to a dentist or if you had a tooth pulled, so that is the best advice I can give you.

Extra strength Excedrin works for me. Anbesol is a topical anesthetic that can help a little. If you are on antibiotics, you may have an abscess. Hope the pain ceases soon.

See a dentist!

A "Toothache" can usually be referred to as pain that is felt around the teeth and or jaw. The cause of a toothache in most cases is by either problems with your jaw and or tooth. In most cases you (and I am talking from experience here) you would just leave it and wait for the pain to subside, but this isn't the correct thing to do.
