You could possibly substitute real milk for soymilk. Or, you could buy a brand of ice cream called Rice Dream. It is ice cream made with rice instead of milk and it tastes even better anyway! I had it a few years ago, and my mom and I ate the whole carton in one sitting!

This is a delicious recipe that needs no milk.

Coffee Rich No Milk Ice Cream

1 c Coffee Rich (non dairy creamer, in dairy case)
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c sugar (granulated or brown)
1/2 c light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Freeze until almost solid. Stir well. Freeze.

I would suggest using cool whip as a base for non dairy frozen deserts.( it is an edible oil product) You could also try using a non dairy creamer in place of the milk or cream in a home made ice cream recipe.
*Most sherberts or sorbets are pretty much just frozen fruit purees.
