I think the car is $10,000. It has a 3 year warranty so if anything was to go wrong the dealership would have to fix it.

Ask when the transmission was last fixed or if it was replaced. That is a major issue with Chrysler's.

Yes! My guess is if you are looking at a car with that many miles it is pretty inexpensive. Which probably means you don't have a lot of cash sitting around, which means not a lot of money for repairs ...
(Don't take this as an insult, I'm in the same boat! I love Hondas and Toyotas)
Chrysler is NOT a reliable brand at all. Granted, they have gotten better since they have been bought out, but still not reliable, which means a lot of time and $$ in the shop, especially with a car with so many miles on it. Chrysler's rarely make it to 200,000 miles.
Personally, I'd rather buy a Honda or Toyota, or another (not so new) American car with fewer miles and spend the money you would be spending on repairs on something else ....

a good condition car should only have at most 15,000 miles on it for each year since it was produced, and 15,000 times 7 years(almost 8, as model years start in the summer) is 105000 miles. this car picked up an extra 22,000 miles and is probably in a little worse condition.

I would definitely bring this up when the numbers are ran and try for a discount of some sort because of it. The extra miles are definitely going to lower the value when you go to trade it in.

if your buying off a car lot ask for a carfax to check the history of the car this can tell you alot about it including if it was a lease or rental that may explane the large amount of miles it will also give you a good look at its past service history if there has been any major repairs on motor or transmission. the miles may not be a big issue if the car was maintained and service regulary. check kellys blue book and the n.a.d.a book to see there recommended price.
