Ok, so I have described myself as agnostic for a while now and I noticed now that most agniostics are not searching at all -trying to find a religion.

So my question is, what would the definition be for me right now pertaining to religion?

I am currently not practicing any religion. I do believe in a higher "being(s)". I am currently searching for a religion that I find to be true.

A true seeker

Agnostic refers not to someone without religion, or doesn't know if there's a god or not, but someone who holds the philosophical point of view that god's existence or non-existence isn't knowable in this life.

Being you believe in higher being(s), your not an atheist.

You are a theist, currently a-religious.

"I do believe in a higher "being(s)""--You are not an agnostic nor are you a Christian, Muslim, Jew, or a New Guinea headhunter. You're probably in the majority of Americans. However, I don't know what category you would be put in to. Perhaps others would know.

I wouldn't try to find so much a religion.if you look around, religions are not exactly making the world go around.death destruction hate every one wants you to believe what they believe, or else.

do not fall into that trap.instead find a non denominational church in your area and try that before you plunge into the wrong hands.

I wish you lots of luck, its hard and trying, but your mind will guide you to your goal !

Essentially there is only one God and that's that .

I would call one a Seeker of Truth. Bear in mind, it is not so important to find a religion as it to find your own spirituality.

I'd just say you're a seeker/investigator. You're looking at the evidence from all perspectives and trying to piece them all together in order to come to a solid, logical conclusion.

You should be commended.

A Deist believes in a god, but usually not any organized faith.
An Agnostic says it is impossible to tell if there is a god.

Since you say there is one or more, I would call you a Deist.

You're still considered an agnostic. Sorry there isn't a better name for it.
