1. African languages
a) Er .... let's go back a step or two. Do you realise how many languages there are in Africa? Nigeria, alone, has 510 living languages.

b) Referring to a traditional African word makes even less sense than referring to a traditional European word.

2. Nanuma.
a) Unless you can state the actual language, then this can not be sensibly translated.
b) You should also check your source, because a search for "nanuma" brings up a lot of webpages in Fijian (it means "think"). Fiji, by the way, is in the Pacific.
