"There will be wars and rumors of wars" (Book ofRevelations). Yet, we're aware of wars starting millineums ago. Nothing regarding wars has changed except weapons and other military equipment. But I am looking for something else. I am fearful re the United States. How far can we go with such evil? Bombing everywhere. Military everywhere. Influence everywhere. What does the bible say about a country or a people who wreak so much havoc in countries not their own.

Asking a legitimate question is not putting down a country. But then everyone has a right to their own opinion. As I do. Oh and yes we will all 'leave' one day, one way or another...

The beast described in Rev. 17. is the USA. The harlot is the leadership of the USA. I just do not know when it occurs (yet). Does that answer your question?

Most wars that have been waged over the years have been waged abroad. Countries as a whole do not begin a war at home if they don't have to. The Book of Revelation was about ROME and it's destruction. John wrote it in such a way so that he could get it thru the Roman hands at a time when he was a captive on the Isle of Patmos by the Romans. You need to study with a group of Non-denominational Christians about this when you get an opportunity t do so. Have a great week!

We may very well be gone at the time the events of Revelation occur. Many think so because we are not specifically mentioned as other major countries are. Others think that at that time we may not be so major any longer or that perhaps we are referred to in a way we do not recognize.
The Bible does say that the wealthy and free are held responsible for how they treat the poor and oppressed, so some would argue that toppling Saddam Hussein works in our favor in that regard. Military intervention isn't always opposed in Scripture. God speaks out against injustice, oppression, self-serving leaders, dishonesty, immorality, and being wise in our own eyes (among other sins) all of which we see in our own country all over the place.
We have no need to fear, however, since fear does not come from God. Instead, we trust in God's love, justice, compassion, and mercy, and we do our best to be true followers of Jesus Christ and light in a dark world.

Your too late. We are already in the last days and such countries are already experiencing it. America is not one of them as long as we continue to support Israel...but when and if that ever happens, the tables turn for us according to the Bible.
America has preached the gospel to every part of the globe, sent out missionaries and organizations to help people, feeding the hungry, educated the uneducated, shared technology to all the world for a better life. As a result of so much giving, God has blessed up with much as a nation.
The U.S. have become the police of the world because of our ability to do so and because of our covenants and agreements with other nations. Quit bad mouthing our country or please pack your bags and leave. PEACE!!!

No.
Evil will see and feel God's wrath.
The United States is God's battle axe.
Jer 51:20 Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

It astonishes me how many people clame to love God and yet hate the world so badly they want to see it engulfed in fire and started over. I'm sorry, but loving God and hating the world is like loving Beethoven but hating music.

Maybe, we cannot say, I think Holland is pretty far too...
[007:033] Say (O Muhammad [Peace Be Upon]): "(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al-Fawâhish (great evil sins and every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners (in worship) with God for which He has given no authority, and saying things about God of which you have no knowledge."
[007:034] And every nation has its appointed term; when their term comes, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment).
Peace
