Of the major divisions
Catholics are the largest 800 million or so and officially the jury is out on evolution and has not returned since the question was posed a second time in the 1960s.
Lutherans are split on the subject as well as a number of others with some synods vehemently denying evolution and others teaching the subject in their colleges.
Other denominations are either silent, denying, or examining the question without response.

I believe in evolution, in a way... I believe God created everything, and that some creatures evolved into a more advanced state. I do not believe that humans evolved from monkeys. According to all research I've done on evolution, the less evolved creature would die out... if we evolved from monkeys, why are they still here?

The concepts if valid, it's all the little nuances and details I have some issues with here and there. Especailly since it's only 150 years old and most experts agree it takes a million years for a complex creature like a human to make any significant changes.
Any evolutionist with imperical data on humans must be using a Ouiji board!

Since evolution does NOT deny the existence of God, I think many religious people accept evolution as fact. I believe in God yet I can easily accept evolution because it is only answer that makes any sense.
But I also think that Christianity forbids such acceptance since it clearly contradicts their Bible.

I do, just because I am Christian doesn't mean I am afraid to learn. Knowledge in itself is neither good or evil, it is what you do with that knowledge that makes it so.
Science fascinates me and I am always studying for my own interest. I am currently trying to learn everything I can on "Dark Mater" and Quantum Mechanics

My stance is Theistic Evolution. But evolution is definitely more logical and stands-to-reason over so-called creationism.

Micro evolution (diversification) is a science fact.
The other types (universe, solar, and life) are only theories.

There are many that do. I for one beleive that God created the earth and the evolutionary process is constantly shaping and molding life-forms on it.
