So many questions come to mind.
Are you in college or full-time employed?
Do you make enough money to pay the rent, the utilities, other requirements and still be able to have a social life and save for the future?
Are you able to afford something in a safe environment?
Are you moving out just to prove something to someone or because you feel you've arrived at maturity?
Are you in a relationship? Will this affect that for the good or bad?
Will paying rent affect your ability to save up enough to one day "own" your own housing so you won't always have to pay rent?
Do you have options or is this your oly choice right now?

Sure... if you're ready to handle the expenses on your own... 21 is a great age to get out on your own. You will learn a lot.

i moved out when i was 21. all i can say is to be prepared for being broke. work out a budget, eat like a college student and work hard cause every penny will go to your rent, utlities, food, gas, entertainment and alcohol. unless your parents are rich and you don't have to worry about money. if you can deal with the lack of money, then you should be good to go! i loved it...the independence and freedom were worth being broke!!!

Definitely. You are an adult so this would be the perfect time to branch out on your own. You want to become independent sooner rather than later just for your own sanity.

It totally depends on your financial standings, and how responsible you are. Taking on your own apartment is a big job.

If you want one, go ahead. Just keep in mind that they are expensive and you can mess up your credit if you can't afford it. Also, most apartments have renters contracts that can be costly to get out of.

Don't you guys have anything better to do than waste our tax money? Go out and bust a hooker somewhere instead of stalking and luring guys pretending to be an underage girl. You can't even play the part.
