It depends on what you feel. A lot of people tend to go for lighter more "summer" colors. What time of day is your event going down?
If it's at night/evening, I would go bold (like royal blue or eggplant) with candle light. If it's daytime, I would go for a softer color, like sunset pink/orange.
Themes I think are over done. If you're thinking of a "feel" for the wedding go with what YOU as a person are. If you're sophisticated/elegant, go with that. If you're on the wild and crazy side, follow that!
