No, Christians won't pay attention anyway.

I agree. I think everybody should do so. That's why I, as a Christian, try to do it.

Unfortunately, as my son would say, good luck with that. Your materialist philosophy cannot offer any ultimate reasons why somebody should do it. You can say "to be a good example," "to keep peace with your neighbors," or "to maintain a civilized society." To each one of those I could come back with "why should I care about those things?" and be perfectly following the atheist worldview without contradiction.

Would I like atheists and Christians to all be nice to each other? Absolutely - which is why I try to always give a respectful and calm answer to even the most obnoxious questions (which I do not consider this to be one of) here on Y!A. But I am saying that, given the materialist philosophy, there is no reason why one *should* do that.

No I think I'll live a nonjudgmental, peaceful life because that's how I want to live. If anyone sees that as an example, then that's nice, but I'm doing it for me.

There are many Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Atheists, Pagans, Wiccians, and whatever groups I have forgotten that live peaceful, nonjudgmental lives. I feel bad for you that you would hate anything so bad that you would automatically attach labels to everyone associated with it.

I live a nonjudgmental, peaceful life anyway. I'm not trying to convert anyone into anything and believers can do what they like in their own lives as long as they leave me out of it. It's not down to me to try to get others to 'see the light'. I'll leave the sanctimony and pressure tactics to the believers.

Yeah. I already do. Ok I am judgemental but at least I'm peaceful. It's kind of funny because my in-laws are really devout Christians and they know I am agnostic. I think it really scrambles their brain when they see how well I treat their daughter and how nice I am. They are kind of stunned since I don't fit their view of an atheist.

No way. If I live a nonjudgemental, peaceful life, it will not be so I can show Christians anything.

That's how they have gotten away with what they do for so long. It's "do as I say, not as I do." If anything, we should be more like them if we hope to get anywhere.

Atheists ARE more peaceful than Christians.

I allready do, but not in order to show christians anyway, but because I'm a good person who's morals aren't bound to a god.

I try my best to do that. Unfortunately some on here get me all riled up and I end up having to defend myself and my belief system.
