Diarrea or loose stool are often a sign of improper diet, but this can also be a sign of a more serious condition. How long has this gone on? Have you taken your dog to the vet?
It's not good to change your dog's food too often, so I would recommend taking your pet to see a veterinarian. This could be a sign of a more serious condition if the problem has persisted for more than a few days.

If your dog has been checked by the vet and deemed healthy then it's defintely the diet. . Puppies stomachs are really sensative to the food you give them. My puppy is healthy and she was just having diarrhea. I was feeding her Premium dry dog (Purina One Puppy Formula) food mixed in with canned food, so I took her off the canned food and mixed her diet with rice. She was still having diarrhea. So I had to completely chang her diet, and I"m currently switching her diet from Purina One dry dog food to Nutro dry food and pouched wet food.
Since I have been doing this I notice a dramastic changed in her stools. They have been very firm (by the looks of it). So it could be the diet. You might need to switch the food. When you do make sure the 1st ingredient is meat, followed by the 2nd ingredient being meat. Make sure that the product contains as little corn as possible (corn is a filler), and the dog does not digest it. Good Luck

Rice and chicken causes them to have diarrhea. Although they enjoy the food, their body rejects it. I babysat a dog and we fed it corecuts and it had diarrhea. It is normal....just feed it dog food, human food is for occasions or occasionally. But not often because it causes diarrhea.

It might be the brand of dog food. My dog suffered the same thing too, until we found a dog food that didn't give her diarrhea. If you feed her Alpo, then our dogs have or had the same problem. Ask your vet if you're unsure.

When this happened to my beagle in the past, my vet told me to withhold food for 24 hours. After a day of no food (but plenty of water) we slowly fed him dry food and he started to have hard stools again. You need to check with your vet first before doing anything.

you need to take her to the vet. it may very likely be worms... even if she has been dewormed; it could be a type they don't usually treat for. if it's not worms it could be something else more seriouse. make sure you get her looked at by a professional.
