when i cook chicken and store it in a container there's all this slimey stuff on the bottom of the container and on the chicken, what is that? and is there a way to stop it from happening?

that's the juice/fat/poteins that have dripped off the chicken after you cooked it. This coagulates because it gets cold. If you reheated the "slime" you'd get that juice back in it's "normal" form.

The only way to really stop that is to make sure your chicken is completely cooled off before you cover it and store it in the fridge.

all the fat is in the skin. just remove the skin when you cook.
