Like you, I don't have a lot of down town for myself so when I get a chance to be alone and unwind, I usually turn my phones off, rent a girlie movie, pop some popcorn and curl up in bed and enjoy! Or, I also enjoy bubble baths. I put some soft music, light a candle and take a long hot bubble bath. Reading a good novel is also a good way to unwind.

Drink a nice cup of chamomile tea and take a hot bath. It will relax you and maybe you can take a nap then. Put on some nice soft music (classical if you enjoy it) and a sleep mask and call it a day. Spray a little lavender linen spray on you pillow and sheets. You'll just melt away into lala land.

Turn the ringer off on the phone, put on some comfortable loose clothes, either find some relaxing music or a good non violent movie, pour yourself a glass of red wine, pull the shades and find a cozy spot on the sofa.,,,,,,,,heck, I done talked myself into that now.

Drinking, as others recommend, will lead to short term relief but in the long run it can hurt. If you are too tired to exercise (which is a great stress buster) try some chocolate. Works all the time!

Put on some smooth music and sit at the widow and look up at the sky and release all the tension build up from Ur life so far and then see if u can lay down n sleep peacefully.

Soak in a warm bath and burn an aromatherapy candle. You could even listen to a book on CD or tape if you have one...drink a glass of wine or a beer or whatever your pleasure may be...clear your mind and simply pamper yourself for a while.

take a warm bath.. and lay somewhere confortable.. watch some tv.. dont watch the news that makes me upset. watch something like HGTV.. there isnt anything ever exiting on that channel.. and some relaxing tea. turn the lights off.. get some blankets.. and think about happy things like cookies and skittles and rainbows and ponies and fields of flowers!!

I go out to my back pasture to my shed, roll out my Civil War twelve pound Napoleon and fire a dozen cannonballs into the hillside! That gets all my frustrations out. Then I clean the gun, put it away, and go back to the house and take a nap. Then I get up, fix dinner for my wife and mistress, and afterwards chill to a favorite DVD and then to bed, taking my wife and mistress most intimately! Yo, she likes that!
