Maybe GOD is trying to talk to you, 3,7 is GOD's number that's what people tell me.

while I agree with the others that you should try not to let it worry you and you should gt yourself a hot drink, read a while etc, maybe it could also be something waking you at that time... a neighbours security light, a cat, rooster, traffic.....check it out, also try going to bed half an hour later if its not something waking you, just change your routine slightly. Do you dring lots of caffeine, coke coffee before bed? It can take a wee while to kick in for some people! The hours before midnight after meant to be the best hours for healthy sleeping so dont worry too much, however if none of this works i think you should see your Dr, early waking can be a sign of depression too.

Are you male or female, and how old? These are the things to look into. Are you experiencing any physical life changes, such as menopause? This would be a lot easier if I knew a little more about you personally lol, but look around your life for any serious changes. More often than not, it's a sign from your body, alerting you that something's up.

Maybe use the time that you're up in the early AM to read, balance your checkbook, etc. Maybe these things will tire you out, enabling you to get back to sleep quicker. Why 3 AM? Could be your body is going through changes, and your internal clock is breaking your rest. Or, like Stephanie said, maybe God is talking to you...next time, talk/listen to Him (pray), see what happens (seriously)...

Maybe you're like the guy on Hide and Seek. Maybe you're schiztophrenic (however you spell it). My suggestion is go to a shrink. Just kidding.
