Yes you are, if you are in the country...but most times, if you are carrying a child and you are close enough along where you would be in the US with a child ready to be delivered, I don't see how you could be in the country legally. That is, unless the immigration officer gave you a longer stay than normal [which is normally 90 days.] If that's how it works out, that's great, but be aware that some countries don't allow you to have dual citizenship with the U.S. Have a safe delivery!

Grievetomorrow is right, as usual, and Dick is wrong. Of course you can deliver your baby in the US. And yes, the baby will be a US citizen.
Emily is wrong, as I'm sure you know. Although the baby will be a US citizen, YOU will not acquire citizenship or any other benefit; you will still be a tourist who is required to leave the US before your I-94 expires.

I agree with those people who said yes. I just wanted to add that you should be prepared for a hefty hospital bill as you will have no medical issurance (I assume).

Yes, if it is an emergency they can't refuse you, at an emergency room. Then your baby will be a citizen. With your baby a citizen you are allowed to stay in the US with him/her. So the parents and the immediate family may also come! :)
