In the UK at the moment religious groups (Jews, Christians, and Muslims) are protesting against laws which ban discrimination against homosexuals.

I think this is wrong and quite frankly against the guidelines of 'forgiveness' that the bible is supposed to teach.

I'm an atheist but actually agree with forgiving other people and not judging them. Am I the one paying more attention to the bible here than the christians protesting with placards?!

it shows that the christians are trying to run our goverment like thay do all over the world with there out dated 2000yrs old rules why can thay not have there human rights like the rest of us

It's just a few cranks who haven't yet grasped that religion in the UK is dead. Their views don't count-treat them with the contempt they deserve.
