everything in moderation, my friend.

Fish is good for you, and the seaweed is excellent for you, but the white rice is fairly free of any great nutritional value, and if you don't exercise regularly, it is very starchy, which will just metabolize to fat. It's a sensible meal every once in awhile, but your body does need other nutrients from other sources, so don't go on an all sushi diet--and watch out for the 'rolls', which frequently use mayonnaise based sauces, and takes away the low fat benefits of the rest of the ingredients.

well , if you take the rice away and just eat the fish , I guess you can but you wont be satisfied . So, later you'll pig out some junk food . I would suggest , eat some sushi and mix it with some miso soup , that way you wont eat too much sushi and you can reduce the carb intake .

Make your own sushi rolls so you can control the amount of rice in them. Experiment with healthy fillers. It WILL help you lose weight if you replace your more fattening meals with your homemade sushi.

Low fat, low calorie, high-protein fish is an excellent choice for weight loss. Any other similar food is also good. Caloric intake and exercise are key in the end.

sushi is a healthy choice in general, but it's really just about limiting your calories. avoid all things that are fried and try to limit the amount of rice you eat. try sashimi (just fish) and rolls that don't have rice.

it depends on how you look at it...you will lose weight as long as energy out is greater than energy (calorie) in. you can eat anything you want as long as the total calorie in is less than energy out... it's possible to lose weight by eating only chocolate and ice cream as long as you don't eat too much of it!!!

not really, but it is not too fattening either, because it has no fat. So moderate quantities won't hurt the effort.
