Who still believes in the evolution myth? Most of life's important questions can be found in the Good Book, so why do we even bother with science? I ask you, honestly, what have we learned from science that we couldn't have gotten from the Bible?

Evolution ain't a myth, it's the ultimate reality as to how complex forms of life came to existence on this planet. The myths which r totally unreal r Christanity, Jesus, Mother Mary, etc.

Well first things are first; why are you even asking this question if you already have an answer for yourself? Why does another persons opinion matter to you unless you have doubt? I myself am a spiritual person and not a religious fanatic I believe in the bible, but I also believe in science. There is good there is evil there is hot there is cold do you see a pattern starting to unfold? Balance! Balance is everywhere as long as you have an open mind. To fear something is to hate something and that hate grows into rage, but with balance and acceptance we can be happy and satisfied. Evolution is in the bible yes, but that does not make it divine. Everyone has there own opinion on what is devine though. Is devine something that cannot be explained? or is devine something that can be explained? To me if I can explain it then more likely its not devine and if it can be explained then its called science. All I can say is what you believe is the answer is for you is the most important answer.

Science has a place, and is useful.
With science we know that the ice shield before the flood gave the earth about twice the air pressure and oxygen levels we have today. This with the added benefit of keeping the harmful rays of the sun out is why people lived hundreds of years and reptiles could live long enough to become dinosaurs.

Micro evolution is a science, but it does not mean that the other types are true. It would be better if it was called diversification instead.

I am a creationist and I still believe that, maybe, just maybe, God did use evolution to bring the world into existence. Let me explain:

The Bible says that God created the world in three days. But, also in the Bible, there are instances where a "day" isn't actually a literal 24-hour day. For example, in the Book of Daniel, Daniel states that it will be "488 days" until the Messiah would come. In actuality, it was 488 days TO THE DAY from this prophesy until the day Christ rode into Jerusalem.

So, if a "day" can be longer than 24 hours, could this not explain why the world is much older than some believe? Let's look at the planets, for example. It takes the Earth approximately 365 days to orbit the sun (1 year). And a "day" on Earth measures 24 hours. But, are these measurements standard throught the universe? No, they're not even consistent in our own solar system. Mars' day is 24.6229 hours, slightly more than Earth. But, it's revolution around the sun takes 687 days; almost double that of Earth. Other planets are even more different: Jupiter day: 9.8 Earth hours, year:11.86 Earth years. Pluto: Each day on Pluto takes 6.39 Earth days. Each year on Pluto takes 247.7 Earth years (that is, it takes 247.7 Earth years for Pluto to orbit the Sun once).

Once you get out of the solar system, distance has to be measured in light years, or the time it takes a beam of light, traveling @ 186,000 miles per SECOND to go one year. For example, it takes one light MINUTE for a beam of light to reach the Earth from our sun.

So, which "day" was God using to measure time?

the very shown reality that organic and organic evolution has been said contained in the wild, in captive populations of animals and below laboratory circumstances go far in the direction of proving that evolution is a fable. the arrival of antibiotic resistant micro organism and pesticide resistant insects also factor out that evolution is a fable. the very shown reality that 2 human beings independently got here up with notably an identical theory to describe the mythical commentary of evolution contained in the 1850s shows that the parable become extremely solid then. the very shown reality that maximum if no longer all biology, geology and umpteen different forms of learn produce info that are in step with or straight away help this theory shows that the parable continues to be triumphant. assessment this with the "meant" reality of creation as expounded in Genesis etc the position no info outdoors to the Scriptures might want to be got here upon to help the supposition. It could for this reason be striking.

Are you for real ? We don't need science, everything is in the "good book" ?
Where in your book does it say how to make a computer ?Did some preacher follow directions in the bible and come up with the cell-phone, or digital camera ?
All the comforts that we enjoy today came from science. The "good book" gave us a lot of superstition.

Well there are many things that lead to evolution such as the fossil record and other types of experiments done with genes etc. Sure people claim that God and the Bible have an answer for these things but that is a simple case of "God in the gaps"... science uses experiments and proven facts, while faith is just what it implies... faith.

So, you have no problems with the bible (which you consider 100% truth), but consider evolution, despite mountains of EVIDENCE to be a myth? It's an opinion, I suppose.

I take it you are also at ease with the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny.

You're an idiot.

The bible is just a book written hundreds of years ago by people who know nothing about the world.
