Cant run windows xp service pack?

I go to download.com and download it, but when i open it I get a message saying its not a valid win32 program. how can i get it to work for my computer?

windows sp 2 is protected by MICROSOFT to get a legal copy it must come from MICROSOFT it is free unless you have a hacked copy of windows

Why would you try and get a windows service pack from download.com ?
Go to Control Panel and hit "Windows Update"
