I have haerd that a dog is mans best friend but never that a cat was mans best friend and as for cats being stupid, NOT!!! I have a cat that will sit and lay down on camand just like a dog. You must have never taken the time to spend with a cat they are very loving and caring. If one os the kids start to cry our little Siamese will run over and start loving on them and this always stops the tears. You do not know what you are talking about when it comes to cats

Cats are cool. But, like the others before me, I've never heard of them referred to as man's best friend. That goes to dogs.

they don't. the saying goes is that a dog is man's best friend. whoever said that a cat was mans best friend was stupid. no offense. i like cats, but i honestly think that dogs make better companions. you can walk them and play games with them and take them places.

THEY ARE NOT!!
Dogs do all that stuff to but YOU have to pick it up while they clean it themselves! You have to give a dog a bath they clean themselves and they can't help shedding orgagging its there natural thing and if they gag put 'em outside!!!! They are very intelligent too!! They know all this stuff when dogs chase a bone into a pile of manure!!!!
