I have a cockerspaniel and she's 14 years old. She's always sleeping and she only gets up to eat or drink water and goes to the bathroom. Not at all lively. She can't climb up the stairs anymore but she does jump on the couch after walking back and forth gaining strenght to jump. How much life does she have left? 1 or 2 years more you think?

Cocker Spaniels weigh an average of 24 – 28 pounds and are usually not more than 15 inches high. The coat can be any of several particolor or solid colors, including black, red, buff, and sable. Black and tan, chocolate and tan, and tricolored white, black, and tan coats are also common.Well cared-for dogs can live to be 12 – 15 years old.

Usually cockers live to be like 15-20...20 is on the high side! The lazyness is totally normal. It sounds like she could have arthritis, not wanting to climb and taking awhile to jump. You may want to give her, depending on her size, a half or 1 whole tylenol arthritis pill a day, we have to do this with our dog and he acts alot better! Good Luck!

They are known to live up to 14 years of age. Under proper medical care I've seen cockers as old as 16. Good luck with her

Cockers have longer lifespans than a lot of breeds....some have lived to 20! However your precious doggie appears to waning and without adequate exercise and things to provide her interest she may decline more.
