Is there such as "accidental cheating"? Maybe...I think so, well take this for instance: Suppose you were really drunk then wouldn't that be accidental? I think so because alcohol impares your judgement so you can't make rational decisions. Can people call that temporary insanity? Maybe. People might say "Yeah, but you still cheated." True, but consider what happened to Zoolander. If he were to kill the Prime Minister it wouldn't have been his fault right? Why? Because Mugatu (spelling) brainwashed him into doing so and he didn't have the right judgement to stop himself.
I'm not saying cheating is alright, but what I am saying is that there are some guys out there who love their girlfriend very much and that would do anything for them and still cheated on them, but only because of one little mistake caused by the of a lack of judgement comes in, it shouldn't ruin the year of happiness they had.
For the girls that are reading that can't make up their mind, well guys too, just go with this: If you trust them still be with them, if you don't, well don't.

Depends on "is" or "has." There are some circumstances that would make you wanna stay ie if you love him, have a family, if it was in the past, I guess. Then again, if I found out, I would never even think to ask that question. As far as him telling, I've been there and have tried to work through it, but it didn't happen. When you are that close to someone and they are your love, best friend, and what you believe is your soulmate, it's hard to just let it go. Sometimes you need reassurance that leaving is the right thing to do. HTH

I guess everyone hopes that the answer will be that it's very possible that he loves her and the cheating was simply a mistake (even if that may not be the case).
You have to realize it's very hurtful and emotionally damaging to the girl involved and she's trying very hard to cope with it the best way she can and that may mean coming into a forum such as this and asking advice even if it's not what she had hoped to hear.

Women that let a man cheat have REALLY, REALLY, REALLY low self-confidence. Men that cheat on them take advantage of that. Enough said, dump him, find someone else, because there are a lot of people out there and the relationship is going nowhere fast.

Well all girls arent like that. Im not. If I found out my man was cheating I would leave his azz in a snap! But some girls are like that. They just want that special soemone to make them feel cozy. Or they think that he is the one or something.

I agree with you. BUT......... I just think some of these girls must still be in shock and disbelief about being cheated on. Its kindof a big blow to the heart and ego. Don't be so hard on them for asking us for help.

If the girl really wanted a nice guy, she wouldn't be dating such a guy to begin with. Therefore we can conclude that these girls are drawn towards guys who treat them like crap (emotionally).

Because that is the way we girls are. We want to TALK about things like this. We like to hear other people's stories and opinions and also, we want someone to empathize and sympathize with us. that is why we live longer than guys, cause we "get things out in the open" and don't clog our brains and hearts & arteries.!
