This will vary and depend in part on the storage conditions(heat, cold, air tight lid). If it smells or tastes odd...it's probably best to assume it's gone off.

I always keep a bottle of Christian Brothers Dry Sherry around for cooking. I've kept mine for up to a year (maybe longer) with no problems.

you can always drink it and see if you get drunk enough not to care how old it is LOL
