Please, don't do that! Chihuahuas are too small to breed with a dog that size. If your Chihuahua breeds with an Irish Wolfhound, she's going to have major complications, and you may possibly lose her and the babies. Don't just breed a dog because you want puppies. Breeding is a big responsibility, and you need to do tons of research before you even consider it. There are so many dogs out there already that need good homes. The fact that your Chihuahua can' t reach her, should be enough to show you, she's way too small for a dog that large. Please, don't put your poor Chihuahua, in danger.

No but I have seen one. Its very bizarre.... the female MUST be an Irish Wolfhound for the pregnancy to be possible.

Yeah, don't be an irresponsible backyard breeder. If you want another dog go adopt from a shelter or rescue.

I guess he has to want it bad enough! My donkey stud is half the size of my mare, but he did it! anyways, coax your female to lie down, and guide your boy to the proper area. A ladder is a little shakey and might scare him, just a table that is just around your females area. Be careful, though as such a big difference in size may cause the puppies to be very small, causing momma dog to hurt them, but not on purpose. and with such a difference they may be ugly and disproportionate, and will most likely have growth problems, with their backs and hips. I'd advise against breeding them, but I wouldn't force them to be separate, if it happens it happens, but if it don't, it don't. So don't push them.

People like you deserve to be in jail. That chihuahua will die if she has puppies because they will be much too big.

Don't do that, the world doesn't need any more stray animals dying in shelters. They're not "things" you can run experiments on, you know?
Please THINK!
