I heard that doing excersize on our belly wont work it will just make your mussles tones up with that extra layer of fat. Im not fat. I do have a gutt though. I want to loose this. Could running 30 mins per day help me loose this?

Definitely! Running is the second best cardiovascular exercise behind jump rope. 30 min. a day sounds good, try to warm up and stretch before and after for 5 min. to prevent injuries. Doing crunches etc. will help but it won't directly burn fat. Good-luck!

Yup thats right. Cardio is the only thing that burns fat!!! Go buy a book call the ABs Diet. Or go on prevention.com and put ing the abs diet...it gives you all the rite things 2 eat & the best exercises 4 flatter abs!

Your body does not selectively burn fat from one location. It burns fat equally from your whole body. So, exercising one particular part of your body will not cause you to lose fat only from that part of your body.

In order to lose fat, you must burn more calories than you ingest. The easiest way to do this is through additional physical activity. Cardio is a great way to burn calories. Strength training exercises, like sit-ups or bicep curls, are also a good way to do this. Any exercise will burn calories. I suggest you do both cardio and strength training, especially in your abs, as additional muscle burns additional fat and losing fat off your body without adding some muscle tone will not give you the flat, toned look.

Cardio is not the only thing that burns fat. Using your muscles in any way burns calories and burning more calories than you ingest burns fat.
