Perhaps the best way to improve your WRITING is to READ more. People who read a lot learn proper sentence structure, proper syntax, proper grammar, and proper spelling. I have found in 21 years of teaching writing skills that students that don't read much are never, EVER good writers. And inversely, students who read a great deal are generally above-average writers. So I would start by selecting a well-written book and read it--not so much to follow the plot and conflicts--but rather to study how the author created sentences, paragraphs, and how they convey their thoughts and intent through the written word. You will find that your writing will slowly start to improve as you write more and more.

Additionally, I would write a complete 7-9 sentence paragraph of any topic of interest and have someone else read it and critique it. Ask them what your main point was. Quiz them on the message YOU wanted to get across. If you find that they were confused or unclear on your intent, then ask them what THEY thought your message was and why they thought that. Then rewrite the same paragraph and make the necessary changes and have someone ELSE re-read it and ask them the same questions. Through hard work and a lot of practice you will soon become a much, MUCH better writer.

You should be commended for seeking this skill. Too many people today write like morons and as a result they greatly limit their ability to make a comfortable living.

Good luck.

It depends whether you mean handwriting or grammatical writing. If the former them choose a style and practice. If the latter then the best way is to read as many good books as you can and by good I mean in a literary way not by interest.
