I heard it this way:
A high school biology teacher was asking questions of his class, and asked, "Miss Jones, what part of the body can stretch to ten time its normal size when stimulated?"
Miss Jones blushed, and said, "Mr. Smith, I don't think it proper for you to ask me a question like that."
Mr. Smith then called on another member of the class, who answered the question correctly, namely that it was the pupil of the eye.
Mr. Smith then said, "Miss Jones, your previous response demonstrates three things. One, you did not read last night's assignment. Two, you have a dirty mind. And three, you are in for a MAJOR disappointment."
