Eze.Chapter 1
1:4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind * came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

Check out what the word AMBER means in the Hebrew..
chashmal
khash-mal'
of uncertain derivation; probably bronze or polished spectrum metal:--amber.

What stories are you referring to? There's none that I know in the bible and I've read it cover to cover many times. The only one that you might be thinking of is a vision of Ezekial but that was a spiritual analogy not an actual eye witness account of something.

The story that most conjures up images of ufos is the prophetic vision of Ezekiel Chapter 1.

What one must remember about all recorded prophetic visions is that the imagery is all symbolic. What deep meaning the symbols hold we may or may not ever fathom but a literal account, they are not.

Actually there are no references to UFOs in the Bible. There are a few misinterpretations that people think there are references of UFOs in the Bible, but they are just that...misinterpretations. God nor His Angles really don't need a spaceship to travel around in.

Ezekiel first chapter.

Dan 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

Senior Ezekiel saw something out of Star Trek :)

But up to you to believe the literal descriptions.

Technically, almost every account of angelic intervention could be considered a UFO sighting. The burning bush could be considered one as well.

Ezekiel talks about Chariots and wheels within wheels in chapter 1. I do not think he is referring to UFO's, however.

It doesn't say anything directly about them. The "scientific" community or whomever has stated that what Ezekial saw was akin to UFO's.
