You can do a search for your area. When the seasons are over they fill up quick. I do know they require a fenced in yard!!! that is a must with a greyhound. They don't do much but when they do they can jet on you.

There are greyhound rescue groups all over the country. Find one close to you and contact them. You'll need to fill out an application and if you're approved, someone will come and check that you really have the fence you say you have, talk to you in a little more detail and match you up with your dog.

Contact a greyhound rescue in your area. Be prepared, though. These dogs need a special type of owner and home so you'll have to complete an adopton application and a home visit. The rescues want to make sure these dogs are going into the right kind of home!

Hmm...They have a program for that here in Phoenix because there is a greyhound racing track. You may want to search online or see if there is a refuge where you are locally. Hope this helps. :)

Call a dog track and ask..
Most of them have adoption programs..
Greyhounds make excellent pets but do need room
to run and someone to play with them..
They are known as "The worlds fastest couch potatoes".

If there is a track where they race them near you go to it.
All of them have information and an adoption program.
They all have information on who to contact right there about the retireing dogs.
It is a great way to get a wonderful dog.
Retired racers are great pets and they make wonderful companions.
