if i do about 30 min cardio in the morning before i eat anything will it be more effective than doing 30 min cardio than say in the afternoon or evening?

the experts are still debating about that one. anytime of the day is better than right before sleep.

I tell people to never exercise on a completely empty stomach. while it is good to do cardio in the early am when glycogen stores are depleted there is also the concern for elevated cortisol levels. that being said i would either drink a glass of juice or take some BCAA's or a small scoop of protein powder or even 10 grams of L-Glutamine.

Yes, it would be more affective in the morning because you have more energy and you get done with it so you dont have to do it later on.
