Pro-illegals support illegal aliens and other things that benefit themselves whether or not it is to the detriment of others.

I guess you would consider me a 'pro-illegal' because I do not support an immediate roundup of all illegals followed by deportation. Hopefully you will actually read this and see the reason for my opinion. I have looked at the government's (under the Buxh administration) extimates of the cost of such an effort (they do not even believe there could be complete success) and those estimates were staggering. Perhaps that is part of the reason the President supported a guest worker program with grandfather clause. I personally see no sense in deporting mass numbers of people until we create a secure border. Otherwise while we are nearly bankrupting ourselves deporting them they will be pouring back over. Likewise I am against teh ludicrous fence. Unless we have mass numbers of agents patrolling the fence it will keep few out. If we had those numbers we wouldn't need the fence at all. Lastly, until we deal with the businesses smuggling people in or paying for them to be brought in we will still have a problem. For eveyone we send out another will be brought in. Many of these businesses are large unfortunately and have far better political connections than you or I have.
No, I do not support violators of the law. I also do not support haphazard and incomplete remedies to real problems. Those remedies generally make problems worse.

The problem is the laws say one thing but then businesse do another, Do you think there would be the mass amount of illegal immigrants there are here if it werent for companies hiring them if they inforce the las the border would be the least of the problems. And you cant just tell people who have been here for 15 years to go home. What you need to do is enforce the las and offer people who have benn upstanding citizens in this country citizenship.

yes we support the disbanding of outdated and ridiculous laws, and of course we do NOT support letting all people out of prison, how would THAT help anything?? Its not hypocrisy, its fair. One is helping people and one is letting serious criminals go wild, they are not even subjects on the same page!

That really is one of the main questions, istn't it? Where do you stop enforcing the law? Questions come up for me, like, do I have to drive the speed limit anymore? (I notice that not many people do drive the legal limit. They miss by as much as 20 MPH frequently)
So, if illegal people come in and take jobs, steal taxpayer resources and eliiminate real American Dream opportunities for native born Americans but they themselves do well because thye are living by different laws/standards, what can regular AMericans do about it?
I can only say that complaining about it is the only thing I know to do. And not supporting those who allow it.
Keep up the belly aching and vote the folks who aren't fixing it out. That's the American way.
Interesting to see if it will work in the end. that will be the true test.
Perhaps, law and order are optional?

Only if you buy into the flawed portrayal of pro illegals that has been created by anti illegals. And only if you are unwilling to understand that the situation is more complex than anti illegals generally acknowledge.

It is hypocrisy. Laws were made for a reason ( not saying that all of them are reasonable). That is what gives us order. If someone breaks them whether the person is legal or illegal, they should pay the consequences.

Every single American breaks laws in this country everyday. They do not follow the speed limit or do not stop at stop signs. Should we just do away with traffic laws because not everyone follows them? No way.
