Does this offend you? That I choose to go about my life looking forward to a promised future of everlasting life in a way that my mind cannot fathom?
Does it offend you because I choose to love, and forgive, and have faith that my patience will be rewarded?
Does it bother you that I want to believe there is a reason for my being other than what YOU may see a need for?
Does it offend you because I will not choose YOUR ideas and concepts or does it bother you because you cannot feel as I do?
WHY does it bother you so much?
Why does it offend you?
It is my life, and I choose to spend it how I choose.

If I do not offend another by pushing my belief on them, why would another have a problem with me believing as I wish?
I am not offended by those who disagree with me.

No, it doesn't offend me that you chose to be happy. And that is what it sounds like to me. No, it doesn't offend me because you choose to put on the fruits of the Spirit. No, it doesn't bother me because you want to be a new creation. No, it doesn't offend me because you don't choose my ideas and concepts, I want you to see for yourself and let God come forth in you. No, I wouldn't want to feel as you feel because you may have been hurt deeply or live in a pain that I can't fathom. It doesn't bother me because the Lord told us not to be about another person's matters. It doesn't offend me at all. Yes, it is your life and I pray you make the best decisions for yourself. Happy New Year and best wishes. You will remain in my prayers.

You sound like you are very agitated or offended by some one. Have you asked this person/persons directly yet? That is where you'll find the answers you seek. Your beliefs are between you and your maker. What other people think shouldn't matter to you. It certainly shouldn't get you so upset. Talk is cheap.Be true to your values and let others reap their just rewards. No one is going to know the truth til it is too late to do any thing about it. Let other people have their own truths , as they should let you have yours. If it feels right to you, then it probably is.

It doesn't offend me in the least. What I do find offensive is when people from any religion expect general society to completely accept and uphold their beliefs to the extent of economic discrimination and/or miseducation of young people.

so long as you don't use it to justify harming others, it doesn't offend me. Your tone does sound belligerent, but mostly in a benign sort of way. I don't imagine you're likely to strap explosives to your body, and any harm you do your children will likely be something they can outgrow. So I guess the answer is no, it doesn't offend me.

Interesting question. It does not offend me. God gave us the freedom to choose. Choose God... keep loving, forgiving and having faith.

Not offended in the slightest.
Does it bother you that I don't?
Many of your fellow believers are bothered by the fact I don't.
Many, in point of fact, go to the trouble of insulting my honor, my honesty, my character, and so many other things it would take too much time to list them. They seem to wish to go out of their way to enforce their religious rules into law, so that I have to follow them.
I have no problem with what anyone believes, so long as they don't go out of their way to try and force those beliefs on others.

I'm not offended at all by what you believe. Why should I be? I just hope you leave me alone with what I believe.

Doesn't offend me. But it doesn't put you in very good standing with God. I do my best to lead others to Jesus the Christ, but in the end, it is still their choice. If you choose to "caste your fate to the winds", that is YOUR problem, not mine. Just as long as you are civil enough to obey man's laws so that I don't have to shoot you for attempting to break into my home, or rape my daughter. YBIC

Nope. It only bothers us when you try to shame us or frighten us into believing as you do. Or when you try to change the laws to have your beliefs enforced on others. As you have a right to believe what you want, so does everyone else.

I'm not offended. You obviously need your religion as many others do. Does it offend you that I do not need that? If so, why?
