I'm just wondering why people aren't protesting and boycotting money because it says 'In God We Trust.'
I say if it goes against your beliefs, then don't use it. hehehe.
I couldn't care less if the 10 commandments were displayed in the courthouse or not. When I was atheist it didn't bother me.

Because of the ACLU twisting what the Constitution says and the Judges and so many others are being convinced by them.

It has been shown that approx 60-80% of the people have NO PROBLEMS with the 10 Commandments being displayed. Whatever happened to the rule of the MAJORITY?

Also the courts and Judges are in VIOLATION of the Constitution, they are MAKING LAW NOT FOLLOWING IT.
Congress is the body of Government that is the one that has the AUTHORITY TO MAKE LAW NOT THE COURTS.

THERE IS NO SEPERATION OF STATE AND RELIGION IN THE CONSTITUTION.

Well apparently the One and Jealous God part is not included. We just let a representative use a Quran and swear to Allah.

We don't beleive in Thou Shalt Not Kill as we have death penalties, armies, weapons of mass destruction we use all the time and abortion.

We don't totally agree with the Sabbath concept, as we allow people to chose to accept a 7 day work week if they so want.

The rest seem to apply.

The 10 Commandments are religious law, not state law. The state could not say "You will have no other god before me."

You know, all these people who are so damned set on having the 10 commandments displayed in the court houses, can rarely say they are displayed in their own house or church.

I don't want anothers religion forced on me. Definitely not via the government.

Church and State are to be seperate, according to Supreme Court interpretations of the US Constitution. I believe that is the way it should stay, and it should be enforced. No one should force their religion on others. The SCOTUS has also said that freedom of religion also means freedom from religion.

I take a Libertarian stand on the whole mess: I don't care who you are or what you believe....just don't interfere with the freedoms of myself or my family. Mind your own stinkin' business and stay out of others'.

they should remain separate, but what folks fail to realize is that this country was built on a judeo/christian belief system. It is INHERENT IN THE SYSTEM!!! (Sorry. That was a little Monty Python moment.)
