I dont know what you mean specifically by "being older. However, I know of cases of it being precribed in their late teens and early twenties. I t seems to work better in these age groups better than drugs like Adderrall, and their dont seem to be the side of effects like insommnia, upset stomach, and headaches. Hope this helps

Im sixteen and am currently on 36 milligrams of concerta daily. Concerta is a fairly poweful med for me. It focuses me and it makes me less impuslive. However there are negative effects. I suffer extreme loss of apetite when on it and feel almost like a zombie. Why do you ask about concerta?

I'm 30 and was on it last year. My sister is 21 and on it. ADHD often continues into adulthood.
