Stop drinking soda and coffee if you drink it. Drink 8 or more glasses of water everyday. Eat smaller portion sizes when you eat. Use stairs as much as you can. Walk as much as you can. Change the way you eat. Meaning, instead of frying, broil, bake or grill. Use vegetable oil if you do have to fry or sautee' something. Boost your knowledge about portion sizes. Example, most portion sizes equal to about4-6 ozs. do not eat after 7:00 pm. If you feel you must eat something, eat a piece of fruit or pudding or popcorn (with no butter) or something lite like that but what ever you eat after 7:00 pm don't let it include meat.
Good luck

Food makes fat. Some foods are more fattening than others, but food makes fat. More important than what you eat is how much you eat. Keep cutting down until it shows on the scale, then adjust the kind and amount of food until you reach your wirght goal.
You didn't say what your objection to exercising is. It's a great muscle toner, and helps build and maintain a strong healthy heart.

Eat more healthy food, no junk food, no fast food and try making your own meals. That way you can maintain how much sugar, fat, etc. goes into your meals. When going to work or school you should try taking the bus more often, walk, or ride a bike instead of driving or riding in a car.
In short...
Beverages, drink water mostly, no soda, juice is ok.
Food, make your own meals, vegetables are really important, they help your body system flow. If you make your own meals the ingredients you use are controlled.
Hope this helps.

Make good eating choices and exclude anything and everything that is considered junk. This will take longer compared to the time it would take for you to lose weight if you watched what you ate AND exercised.

Ingest fewer calories than you burn in a day. However, if you cut back how much you eat without exercising, when you go back to eating normally, you will gain it all back.
