I met a girl after she gave me her number and met for coffee. She felt very comfortable with me from the get go because was beet red alot when I talked to her and she would extend her arm out towards me with her palms up and ask me a lot of questions about myself. She also had me sip her drinks a couple times, and asked me if I wanted to go out for drinks with her at a nice mexican restaurant after coffee. Her and I flirted some more and she laughed at practically anything I said. She also wanted to show me her new house she was trying to buy.and when I asked her for dinner she smiled broadly and said "I'd love to".
We were supposed to go out again tonight and she hasnt' returned my calls. What's the deal? It's been a week now and she's always returned my calls and has taken lengths to get in touch with me.
I know it's not me. Or is it? Why are they usually so insincere?

It sounds like she was really into you. Maybe something came up, a death in the family or some other emergency that she hasn't been able to call. Keep trying. I think she's really into you. From what you've said anyway.

At this juncture I think you should consider whether something bad has happened that has prevented her from being able to call. So I suggest you leave a voice mail message that includes the message to call you if something is wrong and that she should know you'd be willing to help. She could also be playing hard to get....which would also warrant another telephone call and message. Good Luck--and keep trying.

Call her again, and remind her of the date. Maybe something happened in her family and she has not had the opportunity to call you back.
If you do not hear from her after that, then she is no longer interested.
Do not beat yourself up over it, some people have major issues and you will never be able to figure out their motives.

Something could have happened. Call her one more time and if you still haven't heard from her, that's it. Remember, we woman can be pretty fickle when it comes to dating.
