What does marijuana smell like?

Every evening there is a sulfur sort of smell coming into my apartment from the apartment behind me. My son has respiritory problems. Is there any street drug that smells like that? Is there anything I can do?

There are many types of marijuana that have different smells, but none have ever been described as offensive in any way. Even by non-smokers.

It sounds like there may be a meth-lab behind you. If that is the case, not only is your son's respiratory health in danger, but your own life and possessions are as well!

Talk to the apartment manager. DO NOT GET INVOLVED PERSONALLY with your neighbors. If they use the meth themselves, they may be highly unstable, and you could be seriously injured or killed. If you have a courtesy officer on the property, he can go over there after hours and smell it himself, and use his professional opinion to determine whether or not the police should be called in.

On the upside, your neighbors may just be really bad cooks!

Well marijuana can smell like a skunk smell. It does not smell like cigarettes. It is a nasty smell and as I said can sort of resemble a smell from a skunk..Hope that helps

I don't know what the sulfur smell is and it doesn't sound good.
Marijuana has a smell of tobacco and a skunky odor. Mostly it smells burnt.
If you are really worried about the smell call your fire department. They can test the air quality in your apartment.

I do not think sulpher is what Marijuana smells like. Its sort of a sweet heavy scent. You might have a illegal lab cooking up ? Here I would phone the police, or the health dept. Where you live I do not know. Your land lord? the authorities. Its not just you son at risk. Labs blow up.

You should contact your landlord about the troublesome smell.

I can only describe marijuana as smelling like marijuana, but not sulfur-y. Does your building have any gas appliances? Perhaps there is a leak in an appliance they only use at night (like the stove).

Marijuana smells like heaven, sulfur would be a poorly maintained meth lab. Not only are the fumes bad, but IT CAN BLOW UP. Probably want to make a bogus noise complaint to the cops just to get them down there.

Marijuana doesnt have a sulfur smell....its more skunky. I'm not sure what would have a sulfur smell. Do you think you might be able to talk to your landlord about it?

marijuana smells like moist grass, just put a towel under the doors so the smell wont come in. or tell the police and do something about it

I think different kinds of pot smell different (a friend smokes one that smells just like skunk to me). I don't think any pot smells like sulfer, I'd worry that he's got some kind of lab going on there. Talk to your landlord, and maybe call the cops with your concerns and ask what they can do.

keep your windows closed... there is no describing what marijuana smells like you would have to smell it to pin point it... but a humidifier for your son.... you really can't complain about something you don't even know what it is it could be an insent for all you know... what are you gonna do go to your landlord and say you smell something but don't know what it is... try talking to your neighbors and see if maybe they can try to help prevent the smell from going in to your paartment.. if they are smoking something maybe they can smok in a room where thier smoke doesn't come in to your partment... much better hen snitching on them... they could lose thier place behind such accusations anyway... what if that was you... besides you never know how someone will react.. just be polite and maybe they will work with you... now idf they are rude then by all means... go to your landlord... but try the nice way first... good luck
