you should know is that my dog is not agressive. She never acts agressive towards strangers, and it is perfectly to hug her. However, she has a problem with food. She acts agressive when she is eating something she isn't supposed to and you try to take it away.
Well my mom lets her get away with EVERYTHING. She never corrects my dog, and always babies her. One day my dog was licking the dishes and i tried to correct her by a tug and the collar and a firm "NO!". However, my dog would not accept this and she growled me and bit me on the hand. Not a hard bite, but still a bite. When i tried to scold her, my mom instead scolded ME. She said i shouldnt have been messing with the dog. this is completely ridiculous. This dog is spoiled rotten and thinks she is dominant and i think it is unacceptable for a dog to bite at any time.

being the youngest in my family, my dog thinks she is more dominant than me. How can i teach both my mom and my dog that this is not ok?

you have to sit down with your mum and explain how you feel, my husband and I had the same problem I corrected my dog and he knows I am dominate over him but then on the other hand of it when I did correct him my husband would freak out and yell at me saying I didnt need to correct the dog that he was doing nothing wrong, thus we got into arguments till one day the dog bit me when I was trying to correct it and it then ran to my husband whimpering like it did nothing wrong, my husband than saw after I explained why the dog did that, that he was doing my harm to our dog then helping it, so now our dog is on the way to being a well behaved dog. Still bites hard and gets corrected for it but then know he is wrong after. So all you have to do is get a how to train dog book show your mum little things that are okay and not okay to correct the dog for and your golden, maybe, if your mum listens on how the dog should act or as your dog gets older he may bite more than just you.

Next time your mom is doing something "normal", bite her. See how she reacts. Explain to her that the reaction she is having is the same that you were trying to communicate with the dog, but that she got in the way. This should help her understand where she was wrong. As far as the Pack rank goes, you will still be above the dog and need to have the dog understand this. You have a bigger brain and opposable thumbs, so you should be able to figure out ways to show your dominance and strength over the dog. If it doesn't work, bite your mom again but harder this time.

You need to first sit down with your Mom and let her know that this is not what you want for "Your Pet". Mom shouldn't be overriding what you want for your pet. She should understand that if this keeps up, the dog could become more aggressive in other matters and really hurt someone, besides you or her. Once she understands this, then work together to change the habit(s) of the pet. Be up front with "Mom" and let her know that spoiling the dog is not always best for the dog, it just like children need discipline.
Good luck with this.

Once again this is callled operator error.
It would be very easy to fix the dogs issues.
However it is really your Moms problem and not the dogs.
I do not think you are likely to fix your Moms attitude with how she treats the dog.
Good luck.

omg, it really is embarrassing. yet i imagine she could visit the well being facility. I advise i'm no healthcare professional and Im no longer thoroughly particular of what to do, in spite of the undeniable fact that it sounds kinda severe(i wager) so its probable a good suggestion to get it checked by way of a healthcare professional.
